On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the team of TWBI wants to send a message of inspiration to why they believe in women and girls empowerment.
1. Who is your role model or inspiration (female)?
I am inspired by Susan B. Anthony who fought for women’s right in voting. It encourages me to stand up for women’s right, and it shows that women had sacrificed along the ages, in order for us to have our basic rights like chose who represent us! And finally she apprised me that each massive change started from tiny action. I’m also inspired my Mala yousafzai and cheryl sandberg.
2. In three words, why are you an activist?
To assist women and girls gain the equal capability to access their rights and enjoy it not just speak about it.
3. Why are you a member of TWBI?
I wanted a platform to defend women’s right openly. And I love how TWBI taking the inter generational approach and left no one behind.
4. In one sentence What’s your message on IWD 2020?
Invest in your skills and be a leader, don’t wait them until they tell you what path or job you should take, because it’s hard to visualize someone as leader if she is always waiting to be told what to do! It’s time for unprecedented Fulfillment on the level of gender balance and women’s empowerment
